Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY), 55-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Henry Clay upgrades its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Scott County (Georgetown, KY) to play the Cardinals in a District 42 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Scott County lost 93-51 in their recent non-league test against Male (Louisville, KY)

The Indians now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Western Hills for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6.
