The North Mahaska Warhawks basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Iowa Valley Tigers to 43 in the Warhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Warhawks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martensdale-St. Mary's for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. North Mahaska will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 56-35 league loss to Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-6.

The Tigers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears enter the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, B-G-M triumphed over Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA), 64-31, in a non-league contest.
