St. Christopher's Saints (Richmond, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), 53-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Christopher's upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Saints host Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA) to play the Tigers in a VISAA Division I bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Woodberry Forest lost 61-59 in their recent non-league bout against Peddie (Hightstown, NJ)

Next up, the Justices play the Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.
