The Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 66-27 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Black Knights go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Central Gwinnett was trounced by Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA), 69-58, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they host East Hall for a AAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 9. Johnson will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 88-68 league win over East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-5.
