The Nelson basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Lake Oswego Lakers to 49 in the non-league victory on Friday.
The now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reynolds for a 6A Mt. Hood contest on Tuesday, January 9. Nelson will battle a Raiders team coming off a 66-63 non-league win over Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Raiders record now stands at 1-10.
The Lakers (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Beaverton (Beaverton, OR). The Beavers come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record.
