Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) and the visiting LaMoille Lions (LaMoille, IL), saw Serena's basketball squad wallop LaMoille by a count of 76-29.

With the victory, Serena upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Huskers travel to Woodland (Streator, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Woodland won 61-38 in their recent league challenge against Putnam County (Granville, IL)

Next up, the Lions play the Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL) in a Little Ten challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. LaMoille will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 84-48 non-league loss to Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL).
