Whitfield Warriors (St. Louis, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO), 74-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Whitfield upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Warriors host Clayton (St. Louis, MO) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Clayton lost 60-50 in their recent non-league bout against Parkway Central (Chesterfield, MO)
Next up, the Lancers play the Lutheran North Crusaders (St. Louis, MO) in a ABC bout, on Saturday, January 13. Lutheran South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 61-39 non-league loss to Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO).
