The Mooreland Bearcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Mangum Tigers to 53 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bearcats now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frederick for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Mooreland will meet a Bombers team coming off a 81-12 non-league win over Gracemont (Gracemont, OK). The Bombers record now stands at 7-3.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Gracemont (Gracemont, OK). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, Gracemont was nipped by Frederick (Frederick, OK), 81-12, in a non-league game.
