In Friday's league outing, the Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Taconic Hills Titans (Craryville, NY), by a count of 59-37.

The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Greenville (Greenville, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 2 Patroon outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Greenville smashed Chatham (Chatham, NY), 60-50, in a league outing.

The Titans now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Coxsackie-Athens for a Section 2 Patroon outing on Tuesday, January 9. Taconic Hills will clash with a Riverhawks squad coming off a 55-45 league win over Catskill (Catskill, NY). The Riverhawks record now stands at 1-6.
