The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 16-5. Brookesmith won 63-27 in their recent non-league bout against Panther Creek (Valera, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Eden Bulldogs (Eden, TX) in a 1A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Menard will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
