With the victory, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bluejays host North Greene (White Hall, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-11. North Greene lost 58-40 in their recent league bout against Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL)

Next up, the Raiders play the Greenview Bulldogs (Greenview, IL) in a Tomahawk bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Midwest Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 66-29 non-league loss to Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL).
