The North Central Thunder basketball team (Eureka, SD), was overwhelmed 68-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD)
The Monarchs now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hitchcock-Tulare for a B Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Warner will battle a Patriots team coming off a 59-38 non-league loss to Faulkton (Faulkton, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.
The Thunder (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Faulkton (Faulkton, SD). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Faulkton smashed Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD), 59-38, in a non-league outing.
