Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA), 45-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwestern Lehigh upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bangor (Bangor, PA) to clash with the Slaters in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Slaters go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Bangor won 80-57 in their recent non-league bout against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA)

Next up, the Green Knights clash with the Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 9. Pen Argyl will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record.
