The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions basketball team (Chardon, OH), was nudged 72-69 in Friday's non-league battle with the host University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH)
The Preppers now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hawken for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. University School will confront a Hawks team coming off a 43-29 league loss to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 4-3.
The Lions (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Barberton (Barberton, OH). The Magics come into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Barberton edged Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH), 63-51, in a league battle.
