The Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team (Grant, NE), dropped 46-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the host St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE)

The Irish now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cozad for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. St. Patrick's will battle a Haymakers team coming off a 60-52 league loss to Ogallala (Ogallala, NE). The Haymakers record now stands at 10-1.

The Plainsmen (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Sailors come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record.
