New Hampshire High School Basketball - Salem can't hold off Portsmouth

The Portsmouth Clippers basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Salem Blue Devils to 69 in the Clippers league triumph on Friday.
The Clippers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinkerton for a Division I contest on Tuesday, January 9. Portsmouth will battle a Astros team coming off a 94-61 league win over Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH). The Astros record now stands at 10-0.
The Blue Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester Memorial (Manchester, NH). The Crusaders enter the Division I contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Manchester Memorial nudged Goffstown (Goffstown, NH), 57-47, in a league contest.
