The Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE) basketball crushed the visiting St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE), 48-24 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record.

The Wildcats now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Central City for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. St. Paul will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 50-31 non-league win over Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Bison record now stands at 11-2.
