New York High School Basketball - Schoharie knocked off by Voorheesville

The Voorheesville Blackbirds basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Schoharie Storm to 56 in the Blackbirds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blackbirds now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Voorheesville will meet a Golden Knights team coming off a 70-61 league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 3-7.
The Storm (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY). The Golden Knights enter the Section 2 Western - Hudson contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons was defeated by Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY), 73-70, in a non-league contest.
