South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers (Storm Lake, IA), 84-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Central Calhoun upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Titans host Humboldt (Humboldt, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Humboldt won 83-58 in their recent league bout against Webster City (Webster City, IA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Storm Lake St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 70-46 league win over Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).
