With the victory, South Point upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to play the Storm in a 3A Big South challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Stuart W. Cramer won 72-68 in their recent non-league challenge against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. York will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 63-53 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC).
