Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Nampa Bulldogs (Nampa, ID), 51-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minico upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Spartans host Jerome (Jerome, ID) to play the Tigers in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. Nampa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 46-37 league loss to Mountain View (Meridian, ID).
