Alvirne Broncos (Hudson, NH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH), 58-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Alvirne upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Winnacunnet (Hampton, NH) to play the Warriors in a Division I bout on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Tomahawks play the Spaulding Red Raiders (Rochester, NH) in a Division I bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Merrimack will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 52-14 league loss to Concord (Concord, NH).
