Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Takini Skyhawks (Howes, SD), 56-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Bison upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Cardinals host Carter County (Ekalaka, MT) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Carter County lost 77-35 in their recent non-league bout against Baker (Baker, MT)

Next up, the Skyhawks play the Oelrichs Tigers (Oelrichs, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Takini will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 61-27 non-league loss to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).
