Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) and the visiting Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), saw Broad Run's basketball squad wallop Rock Ridge by a count of 66-19.

With the victory, Broad Run upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Park View (Sterling, VA) to play the Patriots in a Catoctin challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Park View lost 53-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Osbourn (Manassas, VA)

Next up, the Phoenix play the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) in a Dulles challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Rock Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
