Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Burlington Christian Academy Royals (Burlington, NC), 38-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Trinity Academy upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cary Christian (Cary, NC) to play the Knights in a NCISAA Capital City bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-9. Cary Christian lost 39-31 in their recent league bout against GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Royals play the Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Burlington Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 37-25 non-league loss to Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC).
