The East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) basketball crushed the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), 55-25 in Friday's league test.
The Broncos (9-7) will now prepare for their test against East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings go into the AAAA Region 8 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, East Hall was trounced by Madison County (Danielsville, GA), 67-54, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Elbert County for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Cedar Shoals will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 68-39 non-league win over Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-9.
