Chickasha Fighting Chicks (Chickasha, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Eisenhower Eagles (Lawton, OK), 41-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Chickasha upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Fighting Chicks host Guymon (Guymon, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Guymon lost 59-51 in their recent non-league bout against Cache (Cache, OK)

Next up, the Eagles play the Yukon Millers (Yukon, OK) in a 6A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Millers come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 46-27 league win over Westmoore (Oklahoma City, OK).
