Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA), 67-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewis Central upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Titans travel to Gretna (Gretna, NE) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Gretna lost 69-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Clarinda will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 55-44 league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
