The Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Dierks Outlaws (Dierks, AR), 44-41 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles go into the 2A Region 5 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Conway Christian was tipped by Concord (Concord, AR), 54-43, in a non-league test.
The Outlaws now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Hill for a 2A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 9. Dierks will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Fordyce (Fordyce, AR). The Bears record now stands at 7-9.
