Westmoore Jaguars (Oklahoma City, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Deer Creek Antlers (Edmond, OK), 61-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westmoore upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Yukon (Yukon, OK) to play the Millers in a 6A District 2 bout on Saturday, January 6. The Millers come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Yukon won 55-7 in their recent league bout against Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK)

Next up, the Antlers play the Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) in a 6A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Deer Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 42-28 non-league win over Harding Prep (Oklahoma City, OK).
