DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host New Haven Bulldogs (New Haven, IN), 59-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, DeKalb upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Barons host East Noble (Kendallville, IN) to play the Knights in a Northeast 8 bout on Saturday, January 13. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 10-6. East Noble won 61-44 in their recent league bout against Huntington North (Huntington, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. New Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 53-33 league win over Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN).
