New Hampshire High School Basketball - Merrimack Valley knocked off by Derryfield

The Derryfield Cougars basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Merrimack Valley The Pride to 22 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lebanon for a Division II contest on Tuesday, January 9. Derryfield will battle a Raiders team coming off a 46-33 league win over Milford (Milford, NH). The Raiders record now stands at 1-5.
The The Pride (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stark (Weare, NH). The Generals enter the Division II contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Stark ran past Timberlane (Plaistow, NH), 46-24, in a league contest.
