In Friday's non-league outing, the Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA) basketball squad beat the host South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), by a count of 40-24.
The Astros (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Mundy's Mill defeated Forest Park (Forest Park, GA), 61-9, in a league outing.
