Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR), 40-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Two Rivers upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Gators travel to Booneville (Booneville, AR) to play the Bearcats in a 3A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Hornets play the Paris Eagles (Paris, AR) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Hackett will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 53-47 league loss to Booneville (Booneville, AR).
