Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Princeton Day Panthers (Princeton, NJ), 34-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hamilton upgrades its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Spotswood won 57-27 in their recent league bout against Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ)

Next up, the Panthers play the Pennington Red Raiders (Pennington, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Princeton Day will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 91-36 league loss to Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ).
