Georgia High School Basketball - McEachern knocked off by Hazel Green

The Hazel Green Trojans basketball team scored 50 points and held the host McEachern Indians to 40 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mae Jemison for a 6A Area 16 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Hazel Green will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 58-37 non-league loss to Bob Jones (Madison, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-7.
The Indians (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Winter Haven ran past Galloway (Atlanta, GA), 78-64, in a non-league contest.
