The Philip Scotties basketball team (Philip, SD), was nudged 64-60 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD)
The Rangers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lead-Deadwood for a A Region 8 battle on Thursday, January 11.
The Scotties (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD). The Chiefs come into the B Region 7 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Crazy Horse was nudged by Marty Indian (Marty, SD), 82-14, in a non-league battle.
