The Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 70-15 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Jaguars go into the AAAA Region 8 test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Seckinger was trounced by Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA), 46-45, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host East Hall for a AAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 9. Johnson will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 64-43 league loss to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-13.
