The Jordan Valley Mustangs (Jordan Valley, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Trinity Lutheran Saints (Bend, OR), 58-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Prairie City/Burnt River (Prairie City, OR). The go into the 1A High Desert test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Prairie City/Burnt River was trounced by Adrian (Adrian, OR), 41-35, in a league test.
The Saints now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Crane for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Trinity Lutheran will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 73-12 league win over Monument/Dayville (Monument, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-0.
