In Friday's non-league outing, the Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK), by a count of 57-24.

The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Morris (Morris, OK). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Morris bounced Nathan Hale (Tulsa, OK), 66-12, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Diggers play the Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK) in a Black Diamond challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Wilburton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 67-25 league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK).
