The Long Island City Bulldogs (Long Island City, NY) basketball felled the visiting Lane Knights (Brooklyn, NY), 46-30 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Newtown (Elmhurst, NY). The Pioneers go into the PSAL AAAA Queens I test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Newtown went down by Jamaica (Jamaica, NY), 41-39, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Campus Magnet for a PSAL AAAA Queens II test on Wednesday, January 10. Lane will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-38 league loss to Bayside (Bayside, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.
