With the win, Merritt upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Oilers host Hooker (Hooker, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Hooker won 33-29 in their recent non-league bout against Canute (Canute, OK)
