South Dakota High School Basketball - Parkston can't hold off Vermillion

The Vermillion Tanagers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Parkston Trojans to 50 in the Tanagers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tanagers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Vermillion will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-36 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.

The Trojans (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Red Raiders enter the A Region 5 contest with a 6-1 record.
