Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles (Asheville, NC), 53-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Pinnacle Classical Academy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Challenger (Hickory, NC) to play the Firebirds in a Western Piedmont bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Challenger lost 53-27 in their recent league bout against The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders (Spruce Pine, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
