Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Providence Hall Patriots (Herriman, UT) and the visiting St. Joseph Jayhawks (Ogden, UT), saw Providence Hall's basketball squad wallop St. Joseph by a count of 49-25.

With the victory, Providence Hall upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT) to play the Bears in a 3A Region 14 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Summit Academy won 50-48 in their recent non-league challenge against East (Salt Lake City, UT)

Next up, the Jayhawks play the Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 63-48 non-league win over Wendover (Wendover, UT).
