The Shawnee Mission East Lancers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Shawnee Mission North Bison to 20 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olathe South for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Shawnee Mission East will battle a Falcons team coming off a 48-33 non-league win over Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS). The Falcons record now stands at 3-0.

The Bison (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Mill Valley was routed by Olathe South (Olathe, KS), 48-33, in a non-league contest.
