The St. Mary's Academy Blues basketball team (Portland, OR), was overwhelmed 59-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR)
The Irish now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willamette for a 6A Southwest battle on Tuesday, January 9. Sheldon will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 69-51 non-league loss to Clackamas (Clackamas, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-5.
The Blues (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against West Linn (West Linn, OR). The Lions come into the 6A Three Rivers battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, West Linn trounced Westview (Portland, OR), 63-28, in a non-league battle.
