The Upper Lake Cougars basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting St. Helena Saints to 27 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bragg for a North Central I contest on Tuesday, January 9. Upper Lake will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 48-40 league loss to Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-10.

The Saints (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA). The Eagles enter the North Central I contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Cloverdale triumphed over Willits (Willits, CA), 50-28, in a league contest.
