In Friday's non-league outing, the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), by a margin of 61-36.

The Buccaneers (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers go into the AA Section 2 outing with a 11-2 record.
