Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rattlers face the Porter Cowboys (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Sharyland will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record.

The Eagles now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9.
